Small’s
Three round glass flasks on cork rings holding golden oil with dried chamomile, dried oregano and dried orange peel, on a dark stone bench in warm side light.

I saw this before it existed. AI drew it for me. — A.

No. I

Opus Verde

Sunflower oil, slowly infused with chamomile, oregano and orange zest. Made in small batches, for the hour before sleep.

Still in development. Not for sale yet.

Imagined by me, painted by AI. The real oil is still steeping. It refuses to be rushed.

How it began

It started with oregano. The more I read about it, the more it looked like a quiet super plant.. old, stubborn and full of character. I wanted to bring what lives in its leaves into an oil.

Then I found the old stories of oregano at night, and of vivid dreams. I wanted to find out for myself.

Being a mixologist, I couldn’t leave it alone. I added chamomile for softness and comfort, and gave it a spark with dried orange zest.

Every botanical is fully dehydrated before it meets the oil. Water has no place in a slow infusion.

Three botanicals, three roles

Chamomile

The evening flower. Golden, honeyed, unhurried. It belongs to the end of the day.

Oregano

The heart of it. The herb that started everything. Its old Greek name is often read as joy of the mountain.

Orange zest

The spark. Dried zest, a thread of bright citrus, so the stillness never turns heavy.

Made with intention

I made No. I for one moment.. the quiet hour before sleep, when the day is put down and the mind is finally free to wander.

Warm a few drops between your hands. Breathe. Decide what the night is for. That part is yours.

I am not making an oil just to have something to sell. I believe in these plants. I have spent enough time with them to know they have something to say.

— A.

A ritual, not a remedy. I make no promises about what any plant does for your body.. only about how carefully it was made. Each oil gets a number. No. I is the first.
